Rittal sets up a new subsidiary in Serbia

Rittal, which has been present in the Serbian market for over 30 years, has now founded a new subsidiary there: Rittal Serbia. Rittal – together with EPLAN – officially opened a new branch in Belgrade on 6 October 2022. A national competence centre for industry and IT is being established there.

Herborn, 28 October 2022 – Many well-known business customers from the industrial and IT sectors, as well as representatives of EPLAN and Rittal from Serbia and Germany, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new subsidiary in Belgrade was officially opened by Dr. René Umlauft, CSO and member of Rittal International’s Management Board, as well as Dejan Dokmanović, Managing Director of Rittal Serbia and Markus Jahn, EPLAN’s Director of International Sales.

“We warmly welcome our new subsidiary Rittal Serbia into the Friedhelm Loh Group. We are convinced that we can only create new opportunities and solutions for our customers through growth”, stated Dr. René Umlauft.

“The new Belgrade office will focus on the growth and development of the Serbian market in particular and will form a national competence centre in both the industrial and IT infrastructure segments,” Dejan Dokmanović, the company’s Managing Director emphasized. The focus is on expanding business in the IT sector and the process industry.

Together with its sister company EPLAN, which is starting with its team, Rittal aims to play an active role in boosting the competitiveness of the Serbian technology and industrial sector: by modernising and digitising the engineering, manufacturing and operational processes, both for large end users and smaller private companies.

However, the focus is also on a stronger presence in the Western Balkans region. The geographical location in Serbia gives us good access to other countries such as Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania,” explained Thomas Rehhorn, Head of Business Development Europe at Rittal.

Rittal Serbia is a subsidiary of Rittal International, a company of the Friedhelm Loh Group and the world’s leading system suppliers of enclosures, power distribution, climate control, IT infrastructure and software & services.
